Where to watch Transfer Deadline Day 2014

Sky Sports News HQ (all day)
(also on Sky Sports' websites and apps)
The undisputed kings of transfer deadline day, Sky can now have even more fun with the event they effectively invented in their shiny new studio.

Expect Jim White and his deadline day cohort Natalie Sawyer to dash around the new-look studio like athletes taking on an assault course as they countdown to the 11pm deadline.

White - dubbed Mr Transfer Deadline Day by Sky - often looks like he could self-combust at anytime on such days, but he adds to a thrilling watch which at times is beyond parody.

Throw in reporters struggling with rowdy crowds of youths outside football grounds in pitch-black settings,  and Sky's big names such as Jamie Carragher and Jamie Redknapp and if you've got Sky you really shouldn't be going anywhere else for your deadline day fix.

BBC

Deadline Day Special 1pm to 12.15am (red button/online)
Football Focus Special 6.30-7pm (BBC News channel)
Football Focus Special 11.35pm to 12.15am (BBC One)

Playing catch-up after Sky's deadline day successes of the past, the BBC are getting their act together and are offering a red button special (also available online and on BBC Sport apps) from 1pm.
Dan Walker will reside over the two main Football Focus specials at 6.30pm on the BBC News channel and on BBC One from 11.35pm.
His guests include Danny Murphy, Jason Roberts and Phil Neville.
As with Sky, it all unfolds via the BBC's many other web, app and social media streams as well.
A decent service, if you haven't got access to Sky.

BT Sport
BT Sportshub 7pm to 8pm (BT Sport 1)
BT Sportshub 9.30pm to 11.30pm (BT Sport 1)
BT Sport's nightly magazine show is also getting in the transfer deadline day act.
Presented live from BT Sport's impressive Olympic Park studios it has two special shows at 7pm and 9.30pm.
Unlikely to be as well-resourced as rivals Sky and BBC, but another option if you haven't access to Sky Sports.
