> WHERE WILL THE MATCHES BE SHOWN?
On a new BT Europe channel which launches on August 1.
The main game on the Tuesday and Wednesday Champions League match days will be on BT Sport Europe channel, with all the others behind the red button/and via the BT Sport app/or through BT TV which will offer lots of extra features (similar to Sky's Champions League Ipad service such as extra camera angles/replays for goals etc).
It appears only BT TV customers will be able to access all the games in high definition.
There will also be a live "Goals" show fronted by James Richardson (similar to what Sky Sports News HQ used to do for the Champions League nights).
> HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
* If you sign up for BT TV (BT's television service) you get the full BT Sports pack (BT Sport 1, 2, Europe & BT Sport ESPN for FREE)
* If you watch via the Sky platform and are a BT Broadband customer you will only get BT Sport 1 free - you'll have to pay £5-a-month extra to get the other channels including the Champions League on BT Sport Europe.
* If you don't have BT Broadband and want the BT Sport channels you'll have to pay full price - BT were previously charging £12 a month (£15 for HD) for this option, but the new price hasn't been revealed yet.
* Details for other platforms (like Virgin) will be announced in due course
> ARE YOU GOING TO ABLE TO SEE ANY OF THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE GAMES WITHOUT TAKING BT TV OR WITHOUT A SUBSCRIPTION?
Yes, BT Sport is launching a new FREE channel called BT Sport Showcase on Freeview and other platforms.
It has promised to screen:
* a minimum of 12 Champions League FREE matches (including the final)
* a minimum of 14 Europa League FREE matches
* each participating British team will be show in a FREE match at least once
> ANYTHING ELSE I NEED TO KNOW?
BT is also launching a new Ultra HD (4k) channel. This is the next stage of high definition creating and even clearer picture than HD.
However, it appears to only be available if you take BT TV and you will need to buy a new BT Ultra HD set-top box.
The first Ultra HD match will be the Community Shield.
