Sky Sports will continue to show Spanish football's top-flight, La Liga, after agreeing a new three-year deal with the league.
Reports had suggested that Sky was set to lose the rights to arch-rivals BT Sport, but the broadcaster confirmed a new agreement has been struck which will see more than 100 games a season screened live including the 'El Clasico' fixtures.
It's the 20th year in a row Sky will have screened La Liga for and Sky Sports boss Barney Francis described it as "fantastic news".
In a further boost for Sky, some Saturday matches will be pushed back to a 5.15pm UK kick-off time to get round British broadcasting regulations preventing the screening of live football between 3pm and 5.15pm. It has previously meant the first 15 minutes of big games having to be blanked out by Sky leaving viewers baffled as the broadcaster had to show pictures of presenters and pundits watching the match instead of the start of the game.
