More live Premier League games on TV than ever before - including regular Friday matches...

The Premier League's mega-bucks £5.1 billion TV deal begins from the start of the 2016-17 season which kicks off on August 13 - and with it more live matches from the competition on TV than ever before.

That includes a selection of Friday night games live on Sky while there's a change on Saturdays - BT Sport will now have the tea-time kick-offs while Sky lunchtimes.

Otherwise it's business as usual with Super Sunday and Monday Night Football remaining on Sky. Sky has also increased the number of "first picks" it has.

Sky will also continue to offer Game of The Day and the Match Choice service on Saturday nights. In a new move it will also show Premier League goals on mobiles and other device apps from 5.15pm on a Saturday night.

In all, Sky will screen 126 games a season (compared to 116 now) and BT 42 a season (compared to 38 now).

Match of the Day on the BBC will continue to show highlights as it does now, but there will also be an extra midweek magazine show to be screened on BBC 2 every Wednesday night at 10pm.

The Football League becomes the EFL....

The Football League will sport a different look when it kicks off the 2016-17 season on August 6 - it's re-branding to the EFL (English Football League).

It'll still have the Championship, Leagues One and Two and TV rights will stay the same - 137 live matches on Sky Sports and highlights on Channel 5.

And then the World Cup 2018 qualifiers start....

Following either the joy or despair of Euro 2016, the qualifiers for the World Cup in Russia in 2018 start in September.

TV details are the same as they were for the Euro 2016 qualifiers - England's games are live on ITV with mainly all others on Sky.
