Match Choice & Game of the Day to continue as Sky snatch last Premier League TV deal.

Sky Sports red button Match Choice and Game of the Day programmes will continue for another three seasons at least after the broadcaster sealed the final Premier League TV deal.

Sky currently show one 3pm match in full on a Saturday evening with extended highlights from others from 10pm via its red button.

A new three-year deal has been agreed - starting from next season - which will see Sky continue to show the programmes. It also includes on-demand highlights as well as mobile goal clips, rights Sky also currently hold.

It comes on top of the auction earlier in the year for live TV rights which saw Sky clinch the most attractive packages with more games than ever before (128 matches a season) and the crucial first pick game each weekend.

BT Sport took two packages. Although they've added more matches, they have less attractive matches than previously.

Amazon also clinched two full rounds of Premier League games (20 matches) - they'll show every game live from the first December midweek round and every game live from the Boxing Day schedule.
