When do Sky and BT announce the Premier League TV games?

The Premier League fixtures have been announced, but when will you find out if your club's games are being moved for TV purposes?

The League has published a schedule of the approximate dates when they hope to confirm fixture changes by.

Last season they pretty much stuck to it, but as you'd expect with an approximate list of dates some were earlier and others later although they were usually within the same week.

As well as TV considerations, teams' participation in the Champions and Europa League competitions can lead to fixture changes.

In the Europa, where games are played on a Thursday evening, Chelsea, Arsenal and Burnley (should they qualify for the group stage) will see their fixtures moved to Sundays in the weekends after each stage.

PREMIER LEAGUE TV GAMES ANNOUNCEMENTS 2018-19
(dates are approximate)
August and September - July 6

October and November - August 7

December and January - October 12

February - December 12

March - January 25

April - February 22

May - April 5

The final day's live TV games will be confirmed on the completion of all of the penultimate weekend and re-arranged games.

Although the Premier League has agreed a new TV deal, it doesn't start until the 2019-20 season so the new campaign's TV schedule will be the same as last season. Sky will again show 126 games with BT Sport screening 42. Both channels will air matches in the same slots as last season with BT's games mainly on Saturday tea-times and Sky's on Fridays, Saturday lunchtimes, Sundays and Mondays.
