Sky confirm midweek Championship plans - EVERY game live


Sky Sports has confirmed details of its new midweek service offering EVERY Championship game LIVE on Tuesday and Wednesday nights for the first time.

As previously revealed by Footie on TV, the new season is the first under a new agreement between Sky and the EFL which will offer access to all midweek matches.

Sky has now confirmed more details.
For each of the eight midweek Championship rounds, Sky will screeen:

> one match on Tuesday and one match on Wednesday live on its main Sky Sports Football channel
> EVERY other Championship match on those nights will be available via the red button.
> they will also be available to subscribers via the Sky Sports app.
> Soccer Special will also show the best moments from all of those games live on Sky Sports News.

The new service is in addition to the 127 live games Sky will screen from the EFL.

Sky has also confirmed its line-up of presenters and pundits for the EFL coverage.
Scott Minto will again present live coverage with David Prutton. Prutton made the step up from pundit to presenter last season after Kelly Cates moved to Sky's Premier League coverage.

Sky's EFL pundits for the new season will include Andy Hinchcliffe, Don Goodman, Keith Andrews, Lee Hendrie, Danny Higginbotham, Liam Rosenior and Leon Britton.

Prutton will also host the Thursday night EFL Matters show again.

Sky Sports Football will show a Championship goals special every Saturday night from 8pm with League 1 & 2 highlights shows airing from Sunday mornings on the same channel.

Sky Sports News will continue to Goals Express on Saturday nights and Total Goals on the mornings after midweek matches.

Video highlights of EVERY EFL match from all three divisions will also be available on the Sky Sports wesbite and apps shortly after full-time.
